They’ve left.

They’ve all left. I’m not sure when. Their exit wasn’t marked with a large bang or shouting. Unlike the other times, they’ve slipped away quietly. Peacefully. As if for the last time.

The night has enveloped me. My eyes are heavy as it lulls me to rest.
